Twenty Google ratings, not one below five stars, and an A+ at the Better Business Bureau — for a three-person tile shop on Ferry Street in Everett, that is a tidy record. DiFlumeri Imported Tile & Marble sells and installs imported Italian ceramic tile and marble, covering kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces and basements, foyers, fireplaces and outdoor porcelain pavers, and it stocks the setting materials to go with them. The BBB lists it as a family business three employees deep, started in 1972 and incorporated in 1981; the company's own site dates itself to 1988. Either way, this is an old shop by trade standards. What customers actually describe is the front end: someone walking you through the selection. A homeowner writing in March called the process of choosing tile for bathrooms, showers and a basement fun rather than overwhelming, crediting patient guidance and design suggestions that stayed inside her budget and style. Another the same month kept it short — good supply, easy to talk to. Across the longer history the pattern doesn't wander: praise for knowledge, patience, and a deep in-stock selection, with no negative reviews on the record. A few practical things follow from the size of the place. Three employees means the person guiding your selection is likely the person you keep dealing with, which is why names recur in the reviews rather than a company voice. It also means capacity is finite, so timing matters if your project is on a schedule. One thing to sort out yourself: the founding date differs between the BBB record and the company's own website, and the BBB rating comes without accreditation. Neither is alarming, but if the length of the track record matters to you, ask them directly. This is the shop for someone who wants to be walked through tile choices by people who know their stock, and who would rather buy the material and the install from the same place than coordinate two. Confirm lead times on anything imported, and get the installation scope written down alongside the tile order.

I had such an amazing experience working with Lisa at DiFlumeri Tile and I truly can’t recommend her enough. From the moment we started, she was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect selections for my home. She guided me through choosing tile for multiple spaces—including bathrooms, showers, and the basement—and somehow made what could have felt overwhelming into a fun and exciting process. She has a great eye for design and was able to suggest options I wouldn’t have thought of on my own, all while staying within my style and budget. What stood out the most was how attentive and detail-oriented she was. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and made sure every choice felt cohesive and well thought out. I never felt rushed, and she was always happy to answer questions and offer honest advice. Thanks to her help, everything came together beautifully, and I feel so confident in the choices we made. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and goes above and beyond, Lisa is the person to see!

Great experience here! They took my small order, a single tile cut to 4.5” x 20” and cut it for me next day. Now my client has a unique shelving solution above their oven. I love to promote local businesses who help when you need it!

Excellent family-owned and operated business with great customer service. We’ve purchased tile for two projects and will likely do so in the future

We had a terrific experience from beginning to end with DiFlumeri Tile. Lisa is a delight to work with and offered excellent suggestions; super responsive and professional. Tony is an artisan and did a beautiful job installing our new kitchen backsplash, fireplace hearth and surround, and hall flooring. Check out the before/after pics. Highly recommend!
