ARC Marble & Tile cuts and sets stone out of a shop on Garvey Street in Everett, and the company says Rick Hickey founded it in 1999 to work with high-end residential builders and individual clients. The work is tile and stone: custom installation of marble, granite and other stone, fabrication, mosaic tile, and the honing, polishing and restoration of existing stonework. Its Better Business Bureau page carries an A+ grade. Its Google rating sits at 1.7 stars from six ratings, and three of the one-star reviews are not about a job. Two from November 2024 come from people who say they are not customers and object to a political sticker on a company vehicle; one from June 2024 describes the driver of a company car cutting the writer off in traffic. The complaint that is about the work came in August 2025, when a customer wrote that the job was delayed multiple times, called the craftsmanship awful, and said the company was rude and disrespectful of their time and home. In April 2025, a five-star review written in Portuguese called the company excellent and said its employees work very well. Fabrication and restoration are the skills on offer here — marble, granite and travertine honed and polished, stonework cleaned and repaired, countertops and tile cut and set. For a homeowner hiring a stone or tile job, put the schedule in writing with dates, ask who will run the crew in your house, and ask to see two or three finished installations in person before you sign.
