I called Alex with about a week and a half to go before we needed the bathroom work done. He came out that night (at 8pm, which was great since we wanted to get going and were anxious to get a quote) to take a look and give us an estimate. He said he would do the whole job for $700. I was sold. Given that we needed the job done within 8 days, he came out the very next morning to begin work. He and his assistant worked on breaking up the marble tile and realized that the tile was apparently just glued down to the plywood. Not good... he put down the proper cement boards and laid down the new tiles. By late afternoon all the tiles were laid down. He came back the next afternoon to grout and work on the wall tile repair. He stayed until 11:30 that night just to get the work done for us. We offered to let him go hours earlier, but also gave him the option to stay and continue if he wanted... we told him we really didn't care either way... he said if you don't mind, my preference would be to just stay and finish. We said sure, go for it!! When he was done later that night, we checked it out, and it looked absolutely great! He did fantastic work! He even helped me put the toilet and vanity back in (the plumber never showed up). So he went above and beyond and didn't even charge me more for it (i paid him some more for his help). I will absolutely be hiring Alex again when we have more work done on that bathroom as well as work we want done in our other bathroom. Highly recommend. Great guy!
