Dr. Junk is a Billerica junk removal and hauling outfit, and in review after review the name is John. The company's HomeAdvisor profile says it has been in business since 2003; its written reviews run from 2010 to 2021, and HomeAdvisor shows 4.9 stars from 36 ratings. The jobs are the kind people call about in a hurry. In a 2020 HomeAdvisor review, a homeowner said Dr. Junk removed 100 leaf bags before winter weather, a couple of days after agreeing a price, after a previous contractor left them hanging. Another that year described a pile of half-rotten logs cleared by hand because heavy machinery could not get past a patio and fencing, with no damage done. A 2021 reviewer had a shed demolished and removed. Earlier, in 2015, a customer described John giving an estimate by text from photos, then in person on a major holiday, before his crew cleared a back yard and long driveway and broom-swept it. Price comes up often. A 2020 Angi reviewer said the final bill for a large cleanout matched the quote exactly. One 2020 HomeAdvisor reviewer noted the crew missed the time frame but did a good job. The BBB grades it A+.
