DrainPro Corp. is a small sewer and drain cleaning outfit at 41 South Main Street in Middleton, Massachusetts. The BBB profile lists the business as started in April 1996 and incorporated the same spring, with three employees and Scott M Goldstein as president, and its work is narrow and equipment-led: drain and sewer cleaning, video pipe inspection, electronic pipe locating, high-pressure water jetting and trenchless sewer pipe replacement, for residential, commercial and industrial customers. Its own site names northeastern Massachusetts towns including Beverly, Danvers, Lynn, Peabody, Marblehead, Melrose, Woburn and North Reading. The public record is thin and what there is of it is difficult. Google publishes a three-star average from ten ratings, but only two of those raters wrote anything, and both wrote one-star accounts. In a January 2026 review a customer said the owner came out for a clogged line, added several extra charges after about an hour, and then became irate and hung up when they called two days later to go over the bill. A June 2025 one-star review describes an aggressive roadside confrontation the writer attributes to the owner from a photo on the website; that writer says plainly they cannot speak to the company's work. On the credential side, the BBB carries an A+ rating for the business while listing it as not accredited - those are two separate things, and the letter grade is the BBB's own assessment rather than a customer score. The company describes itself as insured and a member of the Small Business Service Bureau. If you are calling about a blocked main or need a camera down a line, this is a specialist with a long trading history and the right kit. Given the billing account above, agree the price and what counts as an extra in writing before work starts, and ask for the total in writing when the job is done.
