We purchased our home about four years ago and wanted to update the exterior to truly make it our own. A family member recommended David, as they and their friends had worked with him many times before. From the start, David guided us through the entire process, explaining our options as well as what changes would provide long-term benefits. He was clear, informative, and completely transparent about costs and timelines. Whenever we had questions, David responded quickly, which gave us peace of mind every step of the way. The work we decided on included new siding, a roof, central air, two doors, and attic insulation. The difference was noticeable almost immediately, our home not only feels more comfortable but looks completely transformed. We've done many projects with David Morgan and D.R.M. Design Build, Inc. and they always turn out great. Our most recent project involved making an existing screened-in porch more functional by enclosing it with casement windows and adding a tiled floor with radiant heat. The porch has become a favorite room for our family to spend time in - grabbing a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The windows allow the light (and a breeze) to come in and it feels like we are outside without having to deal with pollen like we did when it was just screens. D.R.M. is particularly skilled at blending new construction with existing historic components. We highly recommend David and his team. We have used David, his firm and his crew for years, starting in 2006 and continuing through 2025 for several significant projects, including complete residing, complete window replacement, reconstruction of large deck and transformation of a porch to a three season room, complete re-do of kitchen and adjacent family/dining area, complete re-do of a bathroom and installation of central air conditioning. Without exception, for every project David was responsive and imaginative, gave great advice, used excellent subcontractors when appropriate, the projects were started and completed in a timely manner (no days off), and the quality of the work was superb, greatly adding value both in the financial sense and in the satisfaction sense. His work has been so consistently excellent that we highly recommended him to our daughter and son-in-law for a significant project at their home in Marlborough in the past year, again a project that was priced fairly, started and completed in a timely manner, and the owners were completely thrilled with the results. We have worked with David for 15 plus years. He worked with our architect to build a fantastic detached garage barn. In the coming years, with his help, we will convert the barn, partially finished, to a in-law home.
