Duda Enterprises is a one-man-forward HVAC operation — Dave — that's been serving Quincy and the South Shore since 1998, according to its own site, and its 31 Google reviews (4.8 stars) back up the longevity: 17 written reviews span 2021 through this March, every one of them five stars. The headline story is recent: a homeowner called after their thermostat stopped working in January, and Dave's same-day visit caught a furnace that had actually caught fire, with wires burned up to the thermostat — catching it before it became a house fire. He had the unit replaced by the following Saturday, so the household went under 24 hours without heat. Honesty is the other throughline. In a 2024 review, a customer said other companies had told them their furnace needed replacing because a part was discontinued; Dave inspected it, said it didn't need replacing, and instead repaired and tuned it up. In a 2023 review, another reviewer — who runs a heating oil company himself — said Dave is the only person he trusts working on his own customers' jobs and has never had a callback on his work. Reviewers across the years describe the same pattern for emergencies: a same-day or next-day call-back, an hour-or-so response time even during heat waves, and a tech who explains the diagnosis before fixing it. The range of work goes beyond routine repairs. In a 2022 review, someone calling from Canada on behalf of elderly parents on the South Shore whose water heater was leaking said Duda's team got there promptly and left the family relieved. In a 2023 review, a customer described a broken AC fixed within 30 minutes of Dave's arrival, followed by a ductless mini-split installation Dave and his son handled together at what the reviewer called a fair price. The business states it is an authorized Mass Save heat pump installer and offers 24/7 emergency service, alongside AC, furnace, ductwork, and oil heating work.

Dave and Matthew had come to originally repair a pressure problem with the heating system, but through straight honesty helped with much more than just the heating, fixed the little things made sure everything was checked before leaving and left everything way better than when found. During a time of emergency my family needed help and they were here immediately working later, even then making sure everything was set. Dave and Matthew held extreme patience with the old system and showed true care in keeping my family warm. The best of the best, thank you.
DUDA came highly recommended from our Randolph Facebook Group. I called him with confidence after my thermostat stopped working in the middle of January 2026. Duda was able to come the same day, diagnosed my 40+ year old unit as needing to be replaced (which I knew was coming). BUT with his quick response time prevented me from having a house fire. My furnace was literally on fire and had burned all the wires up to my thermostat. He gave me a quote and said he could fix it the very next day which was a SATURDAY! I only had to go less than 24 hours without heat. The price was very reasonable. I had two other quotes from larger HVAC companies that made my stomach turn. I would hire him ten times again. Trustworthy, Overall Good Guy who wants to help any way he can. HVAC issues Call DUDA!
Dave was recommended to me and I couldn't be happier. He was kind, efficient and gave me great options for further work I need down the road. I'll recommend him to everyone I know. Thank you so much Dave✌️
Dave from Duda enterprise is a great person to work with and a local , we had our home heat suddenly stop working , Dave came in pretty quickly and went above and beyond to check and replace old wires and also got my automatic water feeder up and running that never did and all now perfectly up and running , Dave is my go too for sure
David was extremely honest. We called him looking for an estimate to replace our furnace. Upon inspection of our furnace David told us that our furnace did NOT need to be replaced (other companies had told us that it did, as the part needed was no longer made). David replaced a few parts and tuned up the rest for a VERY reasonable price. Thank you for your honesty and efficient service.
