A tub pulled out and replaced with a walk-in shower, the shower and floor re-tiled, all to fit a customer's disability: that is one recent bathroom job for Dynamic Design & Remodeling, with Alexander and Angel named for the work. The company's own site lists kitchen and bathroom renovations, full home remodeling, basement finishing, decks, pergolas and patios, and garages, attics and additions, and it says it has been in business 31 years.
A recent customer described an accessible bathroom and closet remodel built to ADA specifications in a small space, so they could stay in their home instead of moving to assisted living. That customer said Justin was flexible and patient during bidding, the permitting and inspection process was handled, and the work, led by Richard, was done on time with minimal disruption. A recent customer who had a completely unfinished basement finished brought Justin and his team back to renovate a front sunroom, then again to replace all of the trim in the house. A recent customer praised help with color blending between the vanity, tiling and flooring.
A 2025 customer said Justin and his team helped with a kitchen/addition off the back of the home, came in ahead of schedule and kept it within budget. A 2024 customer described a basement project led by Alex that turned a dark, dingy space into a bright room; that 2024 customer said the schedule was hit by things outside the company's control, but it stayed on budget. A 2024 customer said Mat Blechman measured and scanned a partially finished basement and had a layout and design ready within a week.
A 2025 customer gave one star, saying Jose the project manager showed up only a few times over a 7 week period, most of the work was outsourced, and the company refused to finish the project, so new people had to be hired to complete it. A 2024 customer who had a full bathroom remodel called the tiling and the tub, toilet and vanity installs ok to good, but said the kitchen plumbing cost had to be negotiated at the end. A 2024 customer wrote that a home remodel done by Cornerstone, in Bridgeport, CT, on a referral from Dynamic Design was a disaster.
Connecticut lists its home improvement contractor registration, HIC.0671502, as active, held by Dynamic Design and Remodeling LLC.
