Electrician Sean Jennings

Sean Jennings works as an independent electrician out of South Boston, and the handful of public records paint a modest but genuinely positive picture. BuildZoom's permit history counts 33 electrical projects across Boston-area towns between 2015 and 2023 — ordinary residential wiring and panel work, not big commercial jobs. The two reviews on record back that up. In a 2021 Google review, a customer called the work "good quality... for a fair price" and said Sean was "prompt and courteous." A separate Thumbtack review described a trickier job — adding circuits to a third-floor apartment kitchen and bathroom after another electrician had already tried and given up — and said he "quoted a fair price and stayed true to his word." One thing worth checking before hiring: BuildZoom's own records show a Newton, MA electrical contractor license under his name (#37447) that expired in 2019 and is currently listed as inactive. That's the directory's record rather than a fresh check, so it's worth confirming his current licensing status directly before booking anything. For straightforward wiring and panel work, the record here — thin as it is — is consistently positive. Given how little of it there is, ask around or check recent references before committing to a bigger job.
