Elite Installations LLC

Forty-one written reviews going back to 2015 tell two different stories about Elite Installations. Most read like this: "I liked Elite so much I hired them for 3 jobs," or "we have used them for four home renovation projects over the past ten years." Andrea and Jerry, who run this Framingham renovation and installation shop, get named again and again for design help and finished kitchens and bathrooms people love. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (175685) is active, and BBB rates the business A+. The specifics back up the praise: a full kitchen remodel finished on time and on budget, marble herringbone bathroom floors called gorgeous, a whole-house project wrapped in under two weeks, and — in a 2022 review — an urgent mini-split heating conversion, including wall patching and exterior siding to match, completed within a week after four in-wall AC units came out. But there's another side to this, too — a handful of serious, detailed complaints that aren't easy to wave off. A 2025 review said Elite took a $25,000 deposit and delivered nothing of value, then raised the project cost by more than $50,000 while shrinking the square footage. Another 2025 review, describing a flood-recovery job done while the family had a newborn and a toddler, said the wrong carpet was installed and a toilet was put in "in blatant violation of MA plumbing code." A January 2026 review described a bathroom renovation with budget overruns, days-long no-shows, and going without a toilet for nearly a week. And a June 2026 review raised concerns that Elite's response to criticism — including communications some recipients described as intimidating — goes beyond ordinary customer-service friction. A 2026 Reddit poster also mentioned getting "a very high quote" from Elite for a shower remodel. Given both sides of this, it's worth pinning down a detailed written contract with milestone-based payments — rather than a large upfront deposit — before signing on, and getting scope and code compliance spelled out in writing.
