Emergency Sewer & Drain Repair says it handles trenchless sewer repair, sewer excavation, drain cleaning, hydro jetting, CIPP lining and video pipe inspections in Southern New Hampshire and Massachusetts. The company describes itself as locally owned and operated, says it has been in business 35 years, and states that it is Perma-Liner certified. A 2025 customer said Rich and his team corrected a failed repair by Roto-Rooter, replacing the sewer line and installing a liner throughout the pipe. A 2024 customer said a sewer main had been leaking into the basement and that after the pipe was lined, "now it's dry." A 2023 customer said Rich and his team were straightforward about the cost and scope of the job and were in and out in about half a day, in the middle of winter. In 2022, a customer wrote that their sewer line backed up the week of Christmas, the company sent Mike out, and between Mike and the "jet truck" the 200-foot line to the city sewer was cleared. A 2022 reviewer described a commercial job to repair a block in drainage lines, with video documentation provided as a before and after. A 2023 reviewer with an office building in Billerica said Rich provided pipe lining and plumbing services on three separate occasions. A 2023 customer gave three stars, describing an expensive operation involving multiple vendors that was "pretty confusing"; that customer said the job got done but was not sure it was an economical solution.
I had a major issue with the sewer line running under my house. Unfortunately, Roto-Rooter came out and performed an awful repair job, charging an outrageous amount for the work. Rich and his team corrected Roto-Rooter's failed job. They replaced the sewer line and installed a liner throughout the pipe — all for just a fifth of what I had originally paid. They were honest, knowledgeable, and efficient. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Had a sewer main leaking into the basement , had the pipe lined and now it's dry. A very worthwhile investment, thanks again
Rich and his team were very professional and straightforward about the cost and scope of the job. I didn't feel like I was being swindled by a big national name brand company. They were in and out in about a half a day, in the middle of winter. We've had the reline in for about 10 months now and have had zero problems or regrets. If we ever move and need the same service, I'm going with these guys.
We have an office building in Billerica. Rich has provided pipe lining and plumbing services on three separate occasions and we were very satisfied in every case. I highly recommend.
Very good, reliable company
