A recent Google reviewer who hired EGI after a house fire and water damage writes that camera footage showed Chris Maastricht loading their brand new washer and dryer onto his white truck and driving off, and calls it theft done without their permission. The same reviewer names Chris Maahs as the owner. A 2024 customer said the crew removed moldy sheetrock and an asbestos tile floor after basement flooding, and called the price very reasonable. A 2023 customer from Cromwell said Chris responded to the first call immediately, laid out a specific outline of the job and fit it in on a tight timeline. A 2023 Google reviewer said they handled asbestos removal on basement air ducts. A 2022 reviewer said Chris Maahs and his team removed asbestos from the home in 2021, arrived on time each day and finished ahead of schedule. In a 2020 review, a customer said Chris Maahs and his crew removed vermiculite inside a garage wall and came back for a follow-up cleanup when called. A 2013 customer who hired them to treat mold said Chris emailed the job report and certification the same afternoon. A 2018 customer praised the fast turnaround on lab results but said they did not go over the results in detail or explain their impact.
EGI was hired as part of my home remodeling after my house fire and water damage. Their owner Chris Maahs was reccommended by my insuramce company as professional and honest. However, as I reviewed my camera feed after my home was completed I discovered Chris Maastricht loading my brand new washer and dryer onto his white truck and driving off. I did not give my permission to anyone, especially EGI to remove any of my appliances and this was a pure theft. If anyone decides to higher Chris Maahs or his EGI company do yourself a favor and install a video camera to make sure nothing gets stolen from your property. I will be contacting local news channel to spread rhe word about professional and highly recommended team of thieves masked as Asbeatos Abatement Company.
Absolutely impressed by the work they did. Above and beyond for sure as far as I am concerned. I chose EGI for the cost and feel like this was, by far and away the best value for our money. HIGHLY recommend!
After experiencing flooding in our basement we need to remove moldy sheetrock and asbestos tile floor. The crew that showed did an excellent job. They were very experienced and clean up was good. We were very pleased and the price was very reasonable.
