F L Machado Plumbing & Heating has a 3.7 from six Google ratings. Customers describe fast help when the heat or hot water went out; one describes a boiler installation that went badly. In April 2022, a customer whose water heater blew out, with an old shut-off valve that would not work, said Matt came over, fixed the problems and put in a new hot water heater that night. A May 2022 reviewer said Machado came on a Sunday to fix a Trinity TX boiler, and a December 2023 customer said Matt responded quickly both times they lost heat and hot water and was fair on price. In a June 2025 review, a customer said a new boiler installation took weeks, with no-shows and early departures, that the system never worked correctly, and that two years later part of it had a meltdown. When they called, he showed up about a week later and said he would not look at it unless they paid. The customer said most of the work now has to be redone.
Had a new boiler that was installed by Machado. Besides it taking weeks and weeks with no shows and leaving early multiple times, he was also very rude. 2 years after the installation and the system never really working correctly, part of the system had a literal meltdown. Luckily, the house didn't burn down. When we called Machado, he showed up about a week later and were told that he wouldn't even come in to look at it unless we paid him. Be careful as this was a very expensive lesson and we now need to redo most of the work as the installation was not done correctly.
Matt Machado Plumbing is incredible . Twice in the last couple years we were without heat and hot water. Each time Matt responded quickly . He did outstanding work and explained what he was doing to repair the problem as he went along . He took time to Answer Questions as he worked . Very Patient, Very Courteous Prompt . Very Honest and Fair on his pricing .. Great Guy and Service ! Highly Recommended !
Great service. Despite being busy, Machado came over on a Sunday to fix my Trinity TX boiler. Have had pleasant interactions before other minor issues in prior years. Would strongly recommend!
