More than one Fabriclean customer called about a water heater, and several name the owner, Mike. In a June 2026 Google review, a customer who had gone a week without help said Michael bought the water tank and had it installed the same day, explained every part of the install, and showed up as promised. A July 2026 reviewer called Mike responsive and said he wants customers to know what is happening every step of the way. Fabriclean is a New Bedford home repair company that says it offers plumbing, electrical and cleaning services across the South Coast, from Fall River and Westport to Taunton and Wareham. Its Angi and HomeAdvisor profiles list 18 years of experience, drain clearing, water treatment systems and handyman work, and note Spanish-speaking service. Earlier customers said much the same. In a January 2024 review, a customer said Mike Carvalho came right away for a water heater job and stayed longer to make sure everything was right. A February 2024 reviewer said the technician was on time and worked with the warranty company, and a November 2023 customer said Fabriclean made time to take a call and explained what needed doing, how long it would take, at fair prices. In April 2025, a Google reviewer who booked through Select Home Warranty said they confirmed an appointment three times, including on a three-way call with Fabriclean, waited for hours each time, and no technician ever came; they added that the person they spoke to had an attitude. Google shows 4.6★ from 9 ratings.
This company is the absolute best. Mike is a rare gem among the trades. He’s responsive, go’s above and beyond. He is a kind person who is genuinely committed to making sure customers are serviced well. He is very knowledgeable and wants you as a customer to know what is happening every step of the way.
Michael was wonderful. He purchased the water tank and had it installed same day after a week with no assistance. He explained every aspect of the install. He showed up as promised and is very communicative. I would highly recommend his company and him. He provided top notch care and professionalism. He's a very personable kind man.
I have tried making an appointment with Fabriclean 3 times. All 3 times I have confirmed the appointment time, and have waited around for hours waiting for the technician. Not once has a technician showed up to my house. In fact, the person I spoke to (believe his name is Mark) had an attitude when I tried to confirm the appointment time the third time. Very shocked by all the positive reviews, this place has done nothing but waste my time. Editing to add: the appointments were scheduled through Select Home Warranty. However, we had a 3-way phone call where I received verbal confirmation from someone at Fabriclean.
Technician was extremely professional..did excellent job...and then asked me to validate thoroughly too...Best technician I have encountered so far
I would absolutely recommend Fabriclean for any plumbing work. They are qick to respond and complete the work on a timely manner. The owner Michael does very good work and is very helpful with all my questions.
