FED Corporation is a Dedham firm with four decades behind it — BBB lists 42 years in business — and a history that runs through municipal contract work: a 2012 Patch.com report named Fed. Corp. as the contractor on a Dedham Square street reconstruction project, delayed at the time while final testing results came in. The written record since then leans heavily on recent complaints rather than praise. In June 2026, a Dedham resident wrote that the company "destroyed our neighborhood street" while working a City of Boston job, and described crews hanging wires from front porches and eating lunch on private property during the work. A February 2025 review made a similar complaint about city road work leaving streets damaged, and an April 2026 review described a company truck backing into a parked car near a gym, with the driver walking off without leaving contact information. A 2023 review called the customer service rude, saying calls got hung up on with no follow-up. Not every account is negative — a late-2024 review called the crew easy to work with on a quick haul job, and another simply called them "the best around." But the specific, detailed accounts point toward property and vehicle damage during city contract work and brusque handling of complaints, so it's worth asking directly about site precautions, insurance, and who to call if something goes wrong before this firm works near your property.
“Work will begin a bit delayed, as the contractor, Fed. Corp., awaited results of final testing.”
Disappointed that the City of Boston continues to contract with this company. They destroyed our neighborhood street, and I saw the employees do a lot of questionable things while they worked like hang electrical wires from front porches and eat lunch on people’s property without permission. They also shut off our water without any warning or notice.
The driver of truck 38 backed into my car at planet fitness, left his trailer hitch in my license plate, and walked on into the gym without leaving contact info or anything. Not sure the guy knows what the white lines in a parking lot are for, so I think that's an untrustworthy contractor.
I wouldn't trust these guys to contract taking the garbage out. They have destroyed roads around the city of Boston with no regard for us.
Great guys in and out dump and go
Best around! Real Gentleman!
