Ferullo Remodeling Inc. is an owner-operated Cape Cod remodeling contractor; the company's own site names Mike Ferullo as the owner and says he has over 15 years of remodeling experience across Cape Cod, the Islands and Plymouth, doing frame-to-finish interior and exterior work. The advertised range is broad: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, home additions, decks, siding, roofing, doors and windows, and custom built-ins and cabinets, with a Houzz profile listing the same services across the Upper and Mid Cape. The first-hand record is small and it points both ways. A homeowner writing in a June 2026 r/CapeCod thread about exterior work near Sandwich reported that Ferullo gave the lowest quote for the largest deck size, handled all the permitting, brought a porta-potty for the crew, answered email and phone, and left the site clean — an unusually specific account. A 2023 Google reviewer described new Andersen windows throughout a house, a re-shingled exterior and corrective carpentry after previous contractors, calling the work excellent, responsive and on time. Against that, a 2022 Google reviewer wrote that they hired the company to build a cottage and fired him as general contractor, alleging he took money allocated for subcontractors, supplies and fixtures, did not pay them and never returned. That is one customer's unadjudicated account and the company has not answered it in the evidence here, but with only two reviews on file it carries real weight and is the first thing to raise. On credentials: Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor registration 171899 is verified against the state registry as active, held of record by Michael Ferullo. The Construction Supervisor number CS-107347 and the BBB "Accredited — A+" badge appear only in the company's own website copy and are not verified here, so ask for both in writing. Given the payment allegation, a written contract with a staged payment schedule, lien waivers from subcontractors and proof of current insurance are reasonable things to require before any deposit.
“He had the lowest quote for the largest deck size. He handled all permitting, which was helpful because the Sandwich permitting guy is apparently very picky. He also brought in a porta-potty for his guys (no one else we looked at even mentioned that) and is responsive via email or phone (which is a rarity). The workers were quiet, polite, immaculately clean, and you can tell they take immense pride in the quality of their work.”
Installed new Andersen windows for entire house, reshingled exterior, and corrected past interior carpentry errors done by previous contractors. Excellent quality, responsive, and on time with work — would definitely hire again.
We hired Ferullo Remodeling to build a cottage on our property. We fired him as general contractor after he took the money allocated for the sub-contractors, supplies and fixtures, didn't pay them, and never returned. He's dishonest, disreputable and untrustworthy. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FERULLO REMODELING!
