Twenty-eight windows in one order. Twenty-five 1900s originals out and replaced in two days. The jobs homeowners describe when they write about Fisher Windows are whole-house replacements, and the crews get them done fast. The Waltham company says Jeff Fisher founded it and that it has been at this for more than 30 years, now second-generation and family-run. It works across Eastern Massachusetts, installs Harvey, Andersen, Pella and Marvin lines, and says it sends its own crews rather than subcontractors. The recent stretch is remarkably consistent: Google sits at 4.9 across 37 ratings, and the thirteen reviews since late January say much the same thing in different words. Crews get named — George and Matt, Dominic and his team, Peter, Andreas — and the details repeat: a call ahead with an ETA, drop cloths down, debris hauled, the rooms vacuumed before they leave. One July customer had 25 original windows from a 1900s house replaced in two days; another had 28 done in the time quoted after a weekend quote request got a Monday callback. The sales visit gets its own recurring note. An April reviewer had three companies quote the job, two of whom spent two hours walking through options, and described Kevin as quick but detailed; a Medford commenter on Reddit in March made the same observation, calling it their favorite of the appointments at half an hour. Warranty follow-through shows up too — one homeowner said Rick came out within minutes of a call about a window that would not close a year after install, and traced the problem to something other than the window. Two things are worth pinning down before you book. Coverage is the first: Porch lists a wide Greater Boston and North Shore territory, while a 2023 Google reviewer was cancelled on a few hours before a Boston quote appointment because the address fell outside the service area — so confirm your town. The second is credentials. BuildZoom lists a Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration for the company and shows an earlier registration number as cancelled; that is BuildZoom's record rather than a registry check, so ask for the current registration number directly. Its BBB file has been open since 2015 with no accreditation and no rating issued. This is the outfit for a full or near-full window replacement in the Middlesex and Norfolk County suburbs, especially in an older house where the crew's tidiness matters as much as the windows. Get the service-area answer and the registration number on the first call, and the rest of what reviewers describe — a short quote visit, a firm date, a clean house at the end — is well documented.

“Fisher is truly the best. We hired them twice to replace most of the windows on our previous condo in Medford and our neighbors were so impressed they hired them too.”

We replaced 7 windows. The whole process was top notch from reaching out for a quote, finalizing the work we wanted to move forward with to scheduling and install. Dominic and his team were polite, on time, and left the site spotless.

Great job by the crew installing 7 windows. Called before they came with an ETA, Kept the area clean as they moved around the 2 rooms and gave me all information needed before they left. Thanks!!!! Mary Lou

From the start everything was good. I requested a quote over the weekend and Monday they were reaching out to make an appointment. In my experience, today, that rare. When all was said and done I decided to go with Fisher and Harvey. Dominic and his team were able to do the 28 windows in the time promised. They were courteous and efficient. They covered the floors with drop cloths and covered just about everything else. They cleaned up and vacuum each day. You would not know that they were here. From sales to scheduling to install everything was done professionally and as expected. Thank you Fisher Windows.

Wonderful service from quote to installation. We could not have picked a better company. George and Matt were great during the installation. Really friendly, professional, and all around a joy to work with. George was very knowledgeable and we appreciated the time he took to explain everything. We would highly recommend them.
