Francisco Sousa is a Massachusetts electrician with an unusually long relationship with at least one customer: a review posted this spring says he's been their electrician since 2000, working across three different houses — the same detail appears in an earlier review from 2015. His Massachusetts electrician license is active, and the jobs on file range from routine repairs to more technical installs: a Tesla home charger in 2021, a 200-amp service upgrade with two rewired circuit boxes the same year, and a lighting swap — track lighting replaced with recessed fixtures — in 2017. Speed and follow-through are what reviewers mention most. A Brighton landlord whose tenant reported a light fixture separated from the ceiling says he called back and fixed it within hours of a 2017 HomeAdvisor request; another customer with a tight deadline before installing a new electric range says he came within hours in 2021 and rearranged his own schedule the next day to finish. Across HomeAdvisor and Angi he holds a 4.9★ average from 21 ratings on each platform, with a perfect score on Thumbtack from a single rating. The written record runs from 2015 through this year — about a dozen of the reviews on file describe straightforward jobs from 2015–2017, like a new light switch and smoke detector replacements, while the more recent ones from 2021 on describe bigger work: the EV charger and panel jobs alongside the same responsiveness. Pricing experiences vary: one customer in 2021 said his price came in at less than half of a competing quote, while a 2017 reviewer said the cost ran a bit higher than other electricians — worth getting a written quote up front rather than assuming either experience is typical. For an older home with dated wiring — a couple of reviewers specifically mention concrete walls and running new circuits up multiple floors — his experience with breaker box and panel work in those conditions is a real plus. Confirm current availability and get a firm estimate before booking, especially for larger jobs like a panel upgrade or EV charger install.
Francisco has been our electrician since 2000. He has helped renovate three of our houses over the years with top quality work at reasonable prices - both internal and external lighting. He is a pleasure to work with and cares about his work and the client's satisfaction. His responsiveness is beyond anyone we have worked with over the years. I cannot recommend him enough!
I feel lucky to have found Francisco. He was a pleasure to deal with. He was quick to respond, punctual and had a very positive attitude. He's now my go to for all my electrical needs. Very highly recommended.
Francisco is an absolute professional! He's very knowledgeable and very safety-minded. He always communicates with status updates so I know when he is coming, how long he will be here, and when he will be finished. If you are looking for a great electrician Francisco is your guy!
I would recommend Francisco Sousa to anyone who needs an electrician. He was very responsive and communicated well why our project was not quite as simple as we imagined. He then did the work and, when we could be there for completion, he was very diligent in ensuring all the doors were locked when he left. The work itself was top notch. We have a number of other needs for electrical work which we have been putting off. Francisco has become our trusted, go to electrician for all such work moving forward.
Francisco recently did a Tesla home charger installation at my condo. It was extremely challenging because of the logistics, but he somehow made it work flawlessly.
