One of the reviews here was written by a subcontractor — the plaster crew, who said in August 2024 that Gabriel had every t crossed before they started the blueboard, and was on point with schedule, craftsmanship and cleanliness. Builders do not often get reviewed by the trades working under them. G.I.P. Construction & Remodeling is owner-operated by Gabriel Panaite out of South Dennis, doing residential and commercial construction, remodeling and custom finish carpentry on the Cape, with 17 years in the trade by his own account. Nine of the 33 Google reviews come back to the same two things: the job finished when he said it would, and at the price he quoted. A homeowner whose Cape house got extensive work in May 2026 said he came in a little ahead of schedule and never went over the budget they had agreed on. Another, writing in August 2024 about a deck replacement in pressure-treated framing with Azek boards and rail, said he began on the date he promised and finished on time, while they were away for most of the work. The jobs run big and small. A 2023 reviewer had a kitchen and two baths renovated, the ceiling raised almost two feet, and every window replaced; in April 2024 another had a kitchen, two bathrooms and a relocated laundry room done. In August 2024, a Dennisport homeowner described a complete bathroom remodel that also shored up the original first-floor construction and took out the fireplace and chimney. At the other end of the scale: a leaking window fixed inside budget in a September 2025 review, a badly installed French door replaced in a 2023 one, and a fast turnaround on an ice dam this past May. Several customers are on their second or third project with him. One November 2023 review is worth the detail. A straightforward deck replacement turned into multiple town hall appeals and in-person meetings, and the homeowner wrote that Gabriel went to those meetings for them. The thing to square up front is the paperwork: the state registry shows his Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration, #192964, as expired, and the company's site lists a construction supervisor licence, CS-112592. For a Cape kitchen, bath, deck or run of windows, he is a straightforward call — ask where both registrations stand before work starts, and get the schedule and the way change orders are priced into the contract.
