An exterior-painting customer says Gate City Painting & Refinishing LLC left missed spots and stopped responding to repeated requests to finish the job. In the April 2026 Google review, the homeowner describes trying both phone calls and text messages before communication ended. They do not recommend the company. This Nashua painter also has customers describing completed interior painting, shutter repainting and pressure washing. Google reports a 4.3-star average from six ratings, with written reviews spanning 2025–2026. A September 2025 reviewer says Zack removed, washed and repainted a dozen pairs of window shutters, then reinstalled them. That customer praises the work and price and says they would hire him again for painting. Two June 2025 accounts describe painting combined with pressure washing. One customer says Zach and his team repainted a room and pressure-washed the house, and praises the results. Another says a call for house pressure washing led to basement repainting as well; that reviewer was happy with both results and would have the team back. A July 2025 reviewer praises Zach’s neat work and says he provided proof of insurance and a contract. That is the customer’s account of the paperwork supplied for their project. The April 2026 exterior-painting complaint describes a different experience: the customer says repeated efforts to obtain a return visit to address the missed spots ended without a response.
Amazing work
I hired this company to do some exterior painting on my house in August. I was not satisfied with the end result (missed spots). I asked repeatedly (via phone and text messages) to have them come back & finish the job. They strung me along and then finally ghosted me. Very dishonest. I would not recommend them.
Zack removed, washed, and repainted a dozen pair of our window shutters, then put them back up. Excellent work, fair price……definitely worth a re-hire for additional painting.
It was a pleasure doing business with Zach! He is very professional and pleasant. Not only is his work exceptional and neat, He provided me with proof of insurance and a contract. I will definitely contact him for my next project.
Great experience with Zach and his team. I needed my room re painted and some pressure washing on my house and it came out marvelous. No other small business I’d rather support!
