I can’t say enough good things about Floyd Faria and his team ‘Get it Done’! He is an excellent contractor who knows and does his job with a high standard of integrity! He is honest, straightforward, and helped me in every way he could renovating a condo for me. He gave me a very reasonable estimate and stuck to his prices… the project cost did not escalate with time and hitches along the way. He kept his time lines and produced quality work. He co-ordinated the whole renovation, bringing in like-minded demo -guys, carpenters, plasterers, floor refinishers, tilers, painters - all who did an excellent job. He built a beautiful brand new kitchen in the apartment with very clean neat lines! I love it! The place looks beautiful! Lastly, in all my years of being a property owner and working with many contractors on repair and renovation, I have never come across a contractor who was always pleasant, and easy to work with under all circumstances! Thank you Floyd!

I don’t want to post this review because when I do, I’m worried that the Get It Done team will be too busy to come back to my house for my next project. In 25 years of home ownership and at least 5 large construction projects, I’ve never had such a positive experience with a general contractor. Get It Done was recommended by the architect and after multiple interviews and reference checks we made the right choice and selected Get It Done. We did have bumps in the road - like lead times for windows, skyrocketing pricing for materials, utility companies that didn’t always cooperate, inspectors that wanted things a little bit different - but those things are to be expected and they’re going to happen on every single project you take on. What made the difference is that Floyd and his team are honest and dilligent and they’re working with you to solve the problems along the way; they do what they say they’re going to do and they work harder and smarter when they need to. It seems like a simple thing to be trustworthy but when you’re entrusting tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars and the litteral roof over your head to someone, it can be a daunting decision because few individuals and companies live this value like Get It Done does. I should also mention the quality of the work is excellent as well. The space looks fantastic and it functions the way it should. We have been done for more than 6 months and we have only had one small reason to call the team since we finished and they fixed the issue very quickly. I can’t recommend Get It Done enough - I just hope they can make some time for me again when I’m ready for my next project.

Floyd is the most honest and reliable contractor I have worked with. I am an architect and I have been through many many contractors until I found Floyd. My architect friend recommended Floyd and that’s how I found him. What he built for me was not an easy construction. It was to add a fairly large family room with skylights and the basement under, and three car garage attached to 1800’s old house. Floyd was easy to work with, courteous, hardworking, knowledgeable and skillful. His price was also reasonable. Many contractors bid cheap to earn the project and charge hefty fees for any changes down the road but he did not do any of that. ( There are always changes, small or large, in construction. That’s just the fact.) And most importantly, TIME EFFICIENT. He finished the job earlier than estimated!!! Never before I had a contractor finished the job on time let alone finishing it earlier than estimated. I highly recommend Floyd.

It has taken over 6 months to get a 4 week job completed. They left our home a total mess. We called them a number of times and asked when will he be finishing, when he finally called back he was very nasty to my wife and said he was on vacation in Europe and to not bother him until he returns. When they finally completed the job there where still unfinished and poor workmanship he said he would address. He has not as of 1/14/15. Now we are finding structural problems with ceiling and bay window is cracked with addition to our pipes have frozen because they removed the existing insulation and not properly reinstalling the insulation. each day we are finding more problems and Rui (the owner) will not return our calls. we will be taking action! Stay away from this company!!
