GFM Enterprises is the Cape's septic outfit. Of the 25 permits BuildZoom has on file, most are septic installs and upgrades, trenching and demolition across Cape Cod towns, and that is what the 36 Google ratings averaging 4.8 mostly describe too. The Provincetown Independent has called it a Dennis-based excavating company specializing in septic systems since at least 2021, and a 2017 capecod.com article described Jenn Morris as the owner and the company as a certified woman-owned business; later news coverage named Jennifer and Gregory Morris as the owners, with Gregory Morris as president. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and its BBB page carries an A+ grade. Two things come up over and over in reviews. One is the price holding: a 2024 customer in Provincetown wrote that the quote was "as good or better than others" and the crew finished inside the timeframe they gave; another that year said the crew put in extra time and materials to correct a mistake an earlier town sewer contractor had left behind, and still landed on the quoted price. The other is a name — Todd Prada, the project manager, who turns up in reviews from 2024 and 2025 for answering quickly and keeping his commitments. They take the awkward sites. A 2025 reviewer described a septic replacement on a steep, difficult Chatham lot that got more complex than either side wanted, with communication staying consistent until it was finished. A 2024 customer had them handle demolition, excavation and two IA septic systems on conservation-restricted land — one of them experimental — coordinated across plumbing, electrical and engineering. Several 2024 reviewers also mentioned the crews leaving the site clean. The thing to ask about has nothing to do with septic tanks. Since 2021 the Provincetown Independent has covered a running fight over a satellite contractor's yard GFM leased on Route 6 in Wellfleet: two cease-and-desist orders from the town's building commissioners, both upheld by the zoning board, special permits denied, and — the paper reported in 2022 — town counsel asking the state Land Court for a preliminary injunction to stop the yard operating. A December 2025 article said the dispute had reached court five years on and that GFM had begun operating the yard despite the town's orders. A 2022 one-star Google reviewer, writing as a neighbor, made the same complaint and added that trees on the site had been clear-cut. None of the homeowners writing about their own jobs raise anything like it. If you are replacing a failed Title V system, hooking into town sewer, or need site work on a lot other contractors have walked away from, GFM is a reasonable call — the reviews for that work are specific and they run deep. Ask where the Wellfleet matter stands now, and get the schedule and who pulls which permits in writing before they mobilize.
“Meanwhile, Great White leased the property to GFM Enterprises, a Dennis-based excavating company whose president is Gregory Morris, and GFM began operating the contractor’s yard despite the town’s orders.”
“Greg Morris, Owner of GFM Enterprises of South Dennis, Massachusetts and Joe Huber, have been working together through 17 years”
“Greg Morris, Owner of GFM Enterprises of Sout Dennis, Massachusetts and Joe Huber, his John Deere Dealer Contact have been working together through 17 years of highs and lows in the construction industry on Cape Cod.”
“Paul Fowler, the building inspector at the time, issued a cease-and-desist order. Great White and its attorney, Ben Zehnder, appealed the order. Meanwhile, GFM, a Dennis-based excavating company, leased the property from Great White and set up a satellite contractor’s yard there.”
“WELLFLEET — As expected, the town counsel filed a request late Monday in state Land Court for a preliminary injunction to stop GFM Enterprises from operating its satellite contractor’s yard at the corner of Route 6 and Old Wharf Road until three related court cases have been decided.”
Great experience. They responded quickly to check out and replace the corroded main line from my house to the septic tank. Very professional crew and would recommend.
Greg has worked at my properrty in Chatham for several years. He's proven to be fair and a very competant, dependable and as an owner isn't itimidated to work hard. If it's dependability and great service give GWF a chance.
GFM replaced the septic system on our very difficult, steep lot in Chatham, MA. The job wound up being more difficult and complex than either GFM or I would have liked, but the communication from GFM was consistent and they ultimately completed the job safely and effectively.
I had a new septic system installed by GFM Enterprises, at a house I was selling and they went above and beyond my expectations! From the first walk-through of the project to the final inspection, their team demonstrated professionalism, expertise, and provided consistent communication which I truly appreciated. Thank you so much to Todd, Donna, and Missy - you were all fantastic to work with and put me at ease every step of the way! Thank you!
We have worked with Todd Prada at GFM for at least the past six years. GFM has the most competitive pricing for our beach nourishment requirements. Todd is professional and pleasant to work with and always communicates in a timely fashion. He provides photos of the completed work and even forwards them to on the conservation committee. GFM is a wonderful company to do business with.
