SVS Masonry works out of South Dennis and says on its own site that it has been building outdoor spaces across Cape Cod since 2007 — patios, walkways, driveways, cobblestone edging, fire pits and outdoor showers, along with the unglamorous half of the job: excavation, foundations, drainage and demolition. What customers write about most is that the schedule holds. A client in June 2024 who had used them for fencing, pavers and a patio wrote that the work is always on time and on budget and that they make creative suggestions that add to the finished product. A May 2025 customer said much the same across several projects. Another, that same month, had a walkway and a short stone wall built, reported the crew finished a few days early, and added that they cleaned up as if they had not even been there. Design input comes up as often as execution. A September 2024 customer wrote that Joao and his crew designed a perfect solution for their backyard patio at reasonable pricing. Two more reviewers name the same person — Joao, or João Victor — and describe him answering questions and keeping the process moving from first contact to finish. The company also turned up outside its paid work: in 2021 the Cape Cod Times reported that SVS Masonry of Dennis was among eight local contractors who donated their time to Housing Assistance Corporation's Big Fix Day, on jobs that included landscaping, roof repairs, deck removal and replacing railings, storm doors and window sills. Google shows a 5-star average from twelve ratings and all eight written accounts are five stars — but they run from mid-2024 to mid-2025, so the public record is genuinely positive rather than genuinely deep. For a patio, wall or drive, ask to see a finished job of the same material near you, and get the excavation and drainage scope written into the quote rather than assumed.
