Glass Electric is a Danvers shop that crews its jobs out of the union hall. The company says it draws on IBEW Locals 103 and 490 to staff work across three states — Greater Boston, southern New Hampshire and York County, Maine — which is how a small outfit takes on both a house service upgrade and a commercial lighting retrofit. It was founded by Kelly Glass, a master electrician, and the site says the team has over 30 years of experience powering Boston. The LLC itself is younger than that: BBB has it started and incorporated in October 2021, with one employee on file and Kelly Glass as manager. BBB grades it A+ though it isn't accredited, and publishes no reviews or complaints. The written customer history is empty. Angi describes the company as new on both Angi and HomeAdvisor with no reviews yet; its page lists switch work, commercial wiring and panel upgrades, and commercial exterior building lighting, offers free estimates, and states that no emergency service and no warranties are offered. The licence question is worth pinning down. The site posts a Massachusetts master licence 23118-A plus New Hampshire 15002 and Maine MS60022062, and Angi repeats the Massachusetts number with a 31 July 2028 expiry — all self-reported, none confirmed against a state registry here. A sensible call if you want a union crew for a commercial-scale job, an EV charger run or an LED conversion, and you're comfortable being their first reviewer. Ask to see the master licence, and settle up front what happens if something needs fixing later, since Angi says warranties aren't offered.
