Gomez Painting Inc

Painting is in the name, and it is real work here — but the calls customers write about most are the wash-downs: a house and its front steps in June 2026, a mildewy deck in May 2024, a concrete pool deck with the gutters cleared the same visit in July 2024, a ten-year-old roof in January 2025. The Thumbtack profile lists the business in Allston with five years in business, 57 hires, a completed background check and Top Pro status for 2025. Gutters are the other steady line. An April 2026 customer had gutters and downspouts cleaned and called the crew quick and responsive; a January 2025 customer had a broken downspout extension replaced within days of calling; in October 2024 a customer had a new gutter installed and damage to the roof repaired. One April 2026 Thumbtack customer said Mario got back to them immediately and had a power wash on the calendar for the next day. The painting jobs are where the prep shows. A May 2025 customer had the exterior of the house prepped and painted, wrought-iron spiral staircase included, and said the crew showed up early on the scheduled day. A May 2024 three-unit condo needed remedial carpentry — siding, window sills — before any paint went on, and the customer called the finished job the best they had had. In February 2025 a screened-in porch and upper deck railings were rebuilt, the crew on site every day and working into the evening, and a March 2024 customer had a stormwater dry well put in and has had no water in the basement since. Across Google's 5 stars from 35 ratings and Thumbtack's 4.8 from 36, customers name the same practical things: a quick reply, an estimate that arrives, scraped paint contained, the site left clean. For seasonal exterior work — wash the house, clear the gutters, repaint the deck before another winter — this is a straightforward call. For a painting project, ask what surface prep and carpentry repair the quote includes, because that is what the larger jobs here turned on.
