A 2023 customer said a previous plumber had called their 9-year-old boiler cooked; Bill came over the very next day and worked for hours on a Saturday so the family could have heat and hot water. That 2024 customer then described several calls to have them come back about water leaking from the system, a part that had to be replaced, leaking valves that another company had to address, and, two years after the install, a system that did not work at all. A very happy customer!!!
Two years ago, my oil furnace backed up and I called Graystone Plumbing And Heating to have them install a new propane heating system. I was very grateful with how quickly Bill was able to get this completed so that I could get Heat again. After the install, there is a series of events that were very Frustrating and led to several calls to have them come back and address water leaking from the system. Eventually, one of the parts had to be replaced, and even still, there was some dripping coming from the system. Separately, I kept noticing drops of water coming from various parts of the system, and it turned out to be leaking from the valves. I had to have another company come out and address this. Still having issues with it leaking. And just today, two years after the install, the entire system does not work. I woke up to no heat and now have to hire another company to figure out what’s going on. Bill is a really nice guy, but I have had a nightmare experience with this heating system install.
The best.
Recently had trouble with our boiler acting erratically. I found Graystones' contact info on the equipment manufacturer's "find a dealer" page, and cold-called them hoping they might be able to help. It turned out to be a GREAT experience. Sarah, the lady I spoke to on the phone was delightful and concerned, as it was February. She later called back, saying Bill could squeeze us in and be out that day to have a look. Once he arrived, since he had the needed part on the truck, it was maybe an hour before we were back up and running and enjoying heat and hot water again. A total of SIX HOURS from when I called, beginning to end, for a brand new customer. If you've ever heard of better service, I'd be amazed.
Our last plumber told us our (9 year old) boiler was cooked and that it would a cost exorbitant amount of money to replace. We called around for second opinions and Bill was over the very next day. He worked for hours on a Saturday so that my family could have heat & hot water as the temperature was dropping. It was truly above and beyond, and saved us THOUSANDS!
