Tom and his crew did an outstanding job renovating the entire exterior of our Gorham home including siding and trim, rebuilding exterior stairs, replacing doors and windows, roofing and gutters, and building an absolutely gorgeous deck! Tom was prompt and thorough with the initial estimate, asking thoughtful questions to understand our goals and suggesting creative solutions. His timeline estimate was spot-on and he and his crew were professional, respectful, and hardworking. And as for the work itself, Tom's detail-oriented approach yielded FLAWLESS results - our house looks incredible and we know the underlying work is rock-solid. We highly recommend Greater Portland Renovations and look forward to working with them on future projects!
Tom has completed two projects for us and both exceeded our expectations! He has been great about communicating promptly and also giving us a heads up if he's going to be a little later than expected. My husband is a retired contractor and finds Tom's work to be excellent! He is always pleasant and very polite as well as knowledgeable about construction, giving advice, and willing to help in any way. He also makes sure that all is cleaned up and well taken care of at the end of his projects. We would highly recommend him to anyone!
From the Interior Designer's perspective, I've been so happy with the work these guys have done on my behalf at my client homes. Bathrooms can be especially challenging, and their work has consistently been sharp and detail-oriented even when the materials can range from millwork to mitered handmade zellige tile. I feel like their standard of professionalism is top tier, with lots of inherent knowledge and communication at a level you don't often see in this business. I will work with them every chance I get.
I could not be more thrilled with the complete transformation of my bathroom. I find myself lingering in there because I can’t believe how beautiful it is. Tom kept me in the loop with updates, snags and solutions throughout the project. I would work with Tom and Greater Portland Renovations again.
Tom and his team did a great job renovating a half-bath in our home. The location of the bathroom made the tile job difficult, but Tom and his team did a fabulous job on the tiles (as well as all the other items). Would definitely recommend Tom to anyone in need of work in the Portland area.
