Green Home Solutions of Central CT does mold remediation, and a recent Google customer said they ran their own mold test after the remediation and the problem was solved. A 2025 review from West Hartford, Connecticut homeowners named Tim Panella as the owner, in charge of Green Home Solutions in their area. That 2025 West Hartford customer said the company handled mold testing on their garage, reported the results and removed all mold, writing months later with "no evidence of any mold in our garage." A 2026 customer said Tim Panella helped with mold they had discovered in their laundry room. A 2026 reviewer said Tim came to their house, tested for mold in part of their basement and conducted an inspection. A 2025 customer said they reached out for mold mitigation in an upstairs bathroom and the mold was all gone. A 2025 reviewer said the company had previously remediated their mold and later cleaned out their A.C. ducts. The work goes beyond mold. A 2023 customer hired the company for a distressed investment property that needed treatment for nicotine staining, animal urine stains and microbial growth, and said Tim explained the process and provided a timeline. A 2024 customer said Tim shuffled his schedule to come out in 2 days and, with an employee out sick, worked with one other person to finish the job on time. A 2023 Reddit commenter said its pricing was not the least expensive of the 3 contractors they contacted but was on par, and that they felt its process was superior. A recent Google customer gave a detailed 1-star account. They described long response times, damage to their walls from the company's equipment, and, after their ducts were cleaned, greasy fingerprint marks around the vents on freshly painted ceilings and stripped vent screws. That customer said the owner offered to fix the fingerprint marks, then responded that he is not coming back, and that they later found mold in the HVAC system that had been cleaned.

Green Home Solutions of Central CT We hired Tim to fix a major problem and then were left with more problems. We had long response times and damages to our walls from their equipment. When a worker damaged something, the owner claimed they were fired (3 separate times in our situation). First two incidents were resolved with credits to fix ourselves. When our project was completed, our ducts were cleaned and we were left with dark fingerprint grease marks around the vents on our freshly painted white ceilings from the employees not using gloves. We also notified them that the vents were put back on crooked & the screws were so badly stripped from them using electric methods of removing we could not get them off to correct. When the owner came to see about fixing the screws, he said he would fix the greasy fingerprints on our ceilings and that it ‘was an easy fix’ with a ‘special chemical cleaner’. The screws were eventually fixed, but the worker said he was not asked to fix the ceilings and that trying to clean it would make it worse. After a few weeks of the owner ignoring us about him fixing what he said he would, and not providing his liability insurance information as an option otherwise, he has responded he is not coming back forcing us to resolve with other avenues. Update- we have since swabbed our vents and found no-tolerance molds in our HVAC system that they ‘cleaned’.
Tim was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. His team was respectful and courteous. I performed another mold test after remediation and problem solved.
Tim and his crew did a fabulous job from start to finish! Very professional, on time, both hard working and yet pleasant to deal with. Very highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.
