Gutter Guys, Part of Ned's Home

Gutter Guys is a Stamford gutter company. A poster in r/norwalk wrote that Gutter Guys, out of Stamford, got swallowed up by PE-backed Ned's. The company says it has been in business 37 years and serves Westchester County, NY, Fairfield County and the rest of Connecticut. One customer said the company replaced sagging, 30-year-old gutters with extra-wide ones and now makes three visits a year to clean out debris. Anthony and Sylvester from Ned's cleared roof shingle and tree debris after a tree strike, took pictures and saved the bagged gutter remnants for that customer's insurance company. A customer who called for a cleaning said they showed up the day after the call. One customer who had canceled a maintenance contract in writing said a Ned's Home truck showed up eight minutes after a text, claiming they had purchased Gutter Guys' customer list. A customer who had all their gutters replaced said the new gutters channel water onto the roof, and that the company tried to charge a lot more to fix it. One customer said they declined the yearly plan, were later billed for services they never agreed to and were sent to collections. A customer wrote that past warranty claims now go to a third-party vendor. A 2025 customer said a gutter installation was scheduled and canceled twice after a 50% deposit, and that they asked for a full refund. In a June 2026 Reddit post, the r/norwalk poster said Ned's showed up at their house unannounced and recommended expensive services they didn't need.
