In May 2026 that same homeowner called them back to pull the shells off and reinstall them while a new roof went on, and wrote that they were happy to find the company still very much in business. Gutter Shell of New England does one thing — gutter protection — from 35 Century Street in Medford, and its site names David Leib and Steven Lubarsky as the owner-operators. The product is the Double-Drop clog-free system, and the company says every installation starts with a standard gutter cleaning. A July 2023 customer who had new gutters and the shields put on said they hold up in heavy rain and that the cover color was matched to the house's shingles. An October 2023 customer with a technical background looked at three other companies first and came back to this one. Coming back is the part people write about. A May 2023 reviewer, five years on from their install, said the lifetime warranty was honored — and that when birds nested in the gutter a couple of years earlier, the crew came out free of charge to clear it. An April 2024 Angi customer named Dave and the two Toms and said they are prompt to correct issues or concerns. The 2026 reviews are short and consistent: on time, clean, efficient, with the July 2026 customer saying they researched their options and got the best price and service here. Speed shows up earlier too — a May 2023 job was done in a single day, and a July 2023 gutter addition and repair was a quick turnaround. One thing to settle before you call. Both the Angi and HomeAdvisor listings say gutters are installed only if you also buy the covers, so if you want plain gutters replaced on their own, look elsewhere. Those same profiles each show 5.0 from four reviews spanning 2015 to 2024. For a house where clearing the gutters is the chore that never ends — especially under trees — this is the specialist to quote. Ask for the covers and gutters as one price, confirm the pre-install cleaning is part of it, and get the lifetime warranty terms in writing.

Gutter Shell of New England initially installed gutter shells for us in 2012. We recently had our roof replaced and contacted the company to remove and reinstall the shells during the process. We were happy to see they are still very much in business! They did an awesome job! They were even able to clean the outside of our gutters and the gutter shells themselves which were still in great condition. David was always easily reachable for scheduling and questions, and Tom and Patrick did an excellent job! They were also able to install an additional downspout where we needed one. If you are looking to purchase gutter shields and avoid ever having to clean out your gutters again I would definitely recommend Gutter Shell of New England.
Gutter Shell is the only company you should consider if you need gutters installed with high quality materials and no headaches! Dave and the 2 Tom's are the best! They have been doing this for a long time and get it done right! They are prompt to correct any issues or concerns and work with you to design the most appropriate system for your home design. Our home design with multiple roof lines is complicated so it needed skilled people We waited 1 year for a prior gutter contractor to get this work done and in the end we are glad he never came through. We feel we got a much better quality product, with prompt install, resolution of the few after issues we had, and no headaches or contractor chasing. Another plus is that gutter shell has no strapping showing on the gutters. Most do! We did not want this as it does spoil the look of the architecture to see the strapping. With Gutter Shell you have clean lines! No ugly straps showing ! If you need gutters…. Call Dave!
