High Tide Contracting is a family-owned design-build remodeling company based in Falmouth, run day-to-day by owner Greg, who personally shows up to walk through nearly every project reviewers describe. The company says it has served Cape Cod and the South Shore for 18 years, working towns from Falmouth and Mashpee to Chatham and Orleans. Its 31 Google reviews are five stars across the board, and reviewers consistently point to the same things: Greg answering calls quickly, crews arriving on time, and job sites left clean at the end of each day. The projects described are varied rather than narrow — a new full bathroom addition, a deck rebuilt after the old one collapsed, a full kitchen-and-bath remodel, and excavation work ahead of a pool installation. In a March 2026 review, one homeowner described the company converting a sunroom into a year-round living space; more recently, in June and July 2026, reviewers described a new bathroom build and a deck replacement with the same on-time, communicative pattern. Thumbtack shows a Construction Supervisor license under Gregory Hunkins, verified through Thumbtack's own background and license check rather than an independent state registry check, and its profile lists 8 years in business — shorter than the 18 years the company states on its own site, which is worth asking about directly. For a full remodel, addition, or deck project on the Cape, High Tide's record is deep and consistent across every source that shows up — confirm the current license status and get the project scope in writing before starting.
