That reviewer described his guys and his subcontractors as professional and punctual. Its Google rating is 5 stars from three ratings, two of them written accounts, the newer one posted in May 2023. Hillcrest works out of 1000 North St in Walpole. Its own site describes a full-service general contracting and construction management company founded in 2000 and owner-operated by Michael Nosal, who it says personally performs and manages the work on projects — custom homes, remodeling and additions, residential and commercial. The site names Boston, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Wellesley, Newton, Needham, Dover, Walpole and Westwood among the towns it covers, and its Better Business Bureau page is graded A+. One thing to settle before signing: the Massachusetts registry shows the company's home improvement contractor registration, #172959, as expired. BuildZoom carries two further HIC numbers for the Walpole business, #159017 and #181112, under the name HiLLCrest Builders LLC. Ask which registration would cover your job and look the number up yourself on the state's register. There is also a date to square — the site says the company started in 2000, while the BBB profile lists it as in business since 2006. Hillcrest fits a homeowner planning a build or an addition big enough to need permits pulled and subcontractors managed, which is the work its reviewer described. Confirm the registration and insurance, and get the scope and payment schedule in writing before work starts.
