These guys are the real deal. Their work is excellent and they are professional. Their "style" of construction is "old school". No shortcuts and everything is done right. The work site is left clean everyday. They also take care to protect your furniture from sawdust and dirt. Highly recommend and would hire them again in a heat beat.
We needed a stairway to access our deck and Homes of Acadia built it to perfection. They are artistic and creative.
I have used Homes of Acadia for several jobs on my home and I cannot recommend them enough!! Ian is professional, prompt, and very reasonably priced, and I really trust him and his team to do any project that might come up. They installed two different vent hoods, and replaced our very broken storm door - to perfection. They worked with our schedule, and were very communicative throughout with schedules, pricing, and updates. Truly a local business with integrity!
We had a great experience working with Ian. He was able to manage our project seamlessly and we appreciated his detailed and timely communication. There were a couple renovation issues that came up unexpectedly and he took care of them. He was focused on keeping this low stress for us and he met the project estimate, the project deadline, and exceeded our expectations with his customer service. We highly recommend Ian.
Ian and his team have been truly exceptional. From start to finish, he has been professional, thoughtful, communicative, and incredibly detail-oriented. What stands out most is not just the quality of the work, but the level of care, pride, and problem-solving he brings to every part of the project. He consistently thinks ahead, offers smart solutions, communicates clearly, and treats the project as if it were his own home. His craftsmanship and eye for detail are outstanding, and I have deeply appreciated how proactive, honest, and invested he has been throughout the process. It is rare to find a contractor who is not only highly skilled, but also reliable, forward-thinking, and genuinely committed to doing things the right way. Every interaction has reinforced that we made the right choice. He has gone above and beyond in ways both big and small, and his dedication shows in every finished detail. I’m beyond grateful for his hard work, insight, and professionalism, and I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone looking for a contractor they can fully trust.
