I hired this company to install a new 1.5 HP motor on my restaurant’s rooftop blower. The job was supposed to include a new pulley and the correct belt. Instead, the technician installed the wrong belt size and type, even though the correct belt (25-7240) is clearly printed on the blower housing AND on the original belt. The belt he installed was an AX series belt, which is the wrong profile and over an inch longer. Because of that, the blower was extremely loose and noisy — the belt was literally hanging slack off the pulleys. I even have photos showing how loose it was. When I contacted them about the issue, instead of fixing their own mistake, they tried to charge extra to come back and install the right belt. I ended up ordering the correct belt myself and fixing the problem in a few minutes. For the price they charge, I expected professional work and honesty. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. Be careful with this company — if they can’t identify the correct belt for the motor they installed, it raises serious questions about their overall quality.
