When one recent customer had New England Air Systems replace a gas furnace, A/C condenser and multi zone control panel and upgrade to Wi-fi thermostats, Carlos and Bob arrived on time and completed the full job in a few hours, in line with the time frame they had given. They also helped connect the thermostats to the customer's phone and computer, and that customer said everything was spotless afterward. The heating and cooling company holds a 4.7-star average across 83 Google ratings, 4.8 stars from 89 ratings on HomeAdvisor and an A+ grade with the Better Business Bureau, and it says it has been in business for 20 years. A 2025 HomeAdvisor reviewer who had an outdoor AC compressor replaced about two years before said the Danbury company was the most affordable and quickest to respond of several they contacted, and that Carlos came out right away. A 2025 customer said Carlos and the team moved their home from an oil based heating system to a heat pump with propane back up, helped with rebates, and that the new equipment was much quieter than the old system. A 2025 customer said Carlos and Bob, while installing a new AC system, explained every night before leaving what the plan was for the next day. A 2016 customer said it installed a ductless AC unit and serviced their central AC compressor; when the indoor unit later leaked because an exterminator had plugged the line with copper mesh, it came promptly, diagnosed the problem and did not charge for the service call. A 2015 customer whose central air condenser stopped working at the start of a heat wave said the company called back the same morning and scheduled service for that afternoon. A 2013 customer said two men were sent to inspect, clean and tweak their boiler after a bumpy start with a scheduling issue. A recent r/Connecticut commenter advised against New England Air Systems, writing of lots of issues across two installs. A 2016 customer found the service a bit expensive.
“I would advise against New England Air Systems; I had lots of issues across two installs.”
Carlos and NEAS couldn't have been any easier to work with. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and fair.
5 stars…NEAS replaced my gas furnace, A/C condenser, multi zone control panel and upgraded my old thermostats to Wi-fi thermostats. I called NEAS for an estimate and Carlos was able to come by the next day. After getting multiple estimates and speaking with others in my complex I decided to move forward with NEAS. Scheduling the install was a breeze. Carlos and Bob arrived on time the day of the install, completed the full job in a few hours (exactly in line with the time frame they had given me) and answered my (many) questions. They also helped me connect the Wi-fi thermostats to my phone and computer. Everything was spotless after they left; you never would have a known they did a large install. This was done a few weeks ago and with the weather we’ve had since I’ve used both the heat and AC and everything works great. I plan to use them for on-going service going forward and would highly recommend them for service to and or installing/replacing your heating/cooling units.
The Technicians Carlos and Bob were terrific. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to communicate with.
NEAS is a top notch company. Prompt service, reasonable prices and very knowledgeable technicians. They have taken care of all of my heating and cooling concerns for the last 7 years I’m more than happy with them!
I have been a homeowner for +30 years and NEAS is by far the best HVAC company…Carlos is knowledgeable, courteous and his integrity is so refreshing!
