A homeowner getting a house ready for the market had a list of odd jobs to check off. In a January 2023 review they wrote that Harold Ramos answered fast, came to look, quoted a price they called very reasonable, and had the list cleared the following week. Seventeen of the twenty-one reviews name him that way — by name, not by company. Bathrooms come up more than anything else: nine of those twenty-one accounts are bathroom work. A May 2022 customer described a small bathroom renovation — old tile floor and sub-floor out, cement board and vinyl tile in, a new faucet and fittings, and a new baseboard he crafted without being asked. In February 2022, another wrote that a shower was added to a powder room and that the team showed up without missing a work day and finished on time. In October 2024, a customer whose plumber sent him over said a simple 1940s toilet swap turned into replacing the lavatory floor, and that he worked with the plumber to get it done at a fair price. The work runs wider than that. An October 2021 reviewer had wall-to-wall carpet glued to concrete pulled out of a bedroom and replaced with porcelain tile, the moldings reworked, a marble threshold set and two oak doors hung. A July 2023 couple had a shower remodel and an in-home pottery studio built in their basement. The most recent account, from June 2025, is a hole and rotted shingles over a large window repaired within two weeks. What several reviewers mention alongside the work is the housekeeping: dust and supplies kept organized, the work area left tidy, no trace beyond the finished job. Prices drew the word reasonable in 2024 and 2025 reviews as often as the workmanship did. This is the call for a punch list, a stubborn repair or a single bathroom you want done properly, rather than a whole-house build. Settle the scope and the price in writing before work starts, and ask for a certificate of insurance.
