ILIEV ELECTRIC

ILIEV ELECTRIC is a Newton, Massachusetts electrician with nine years in business, according to its Angi profile, and a spotless recent record: a perfect 5.0-star average on Angi across 17 reviews and a 5-star average on Google from 14 ratings. The 30 reviews on file, spanning 2023 through 2025 across five platforms, tell a consistent story. Iliya (also spelled Iliev/Illiya across reviews) handles everything from small repairs to bigger electrical upgrades — replacing failing outlets and light fixtures, installing new fans, fixing faulty breakers, upgrading main panels, and installing EV chargers. Several customers who shopped around specifically call out the pricing: one said an EV charger quote came in at less than half what other companies asked, and another, an architect of over 50 years, called finding a small electrical firm this attuned to homeowners' needs "not easy" — and said Iliev was the one they finally found. Responsiveness is the other recurring theme. Reviewers describe quick callbacks, prompt scheduling, and clear communication about the work and its cost before anything starts — "made sure to check with us before any decisions were made," one wrote. Several also mention that the crew cleans up after itself, a detail that shows up often enough to read as a habit rather than a one-off. Across all 30 reviews on file, none report a problem with the work, the price, or the communication — an unusually clean record for a business handling this much volume. For anything from a stuck breaker to an EV charger install or a panel upgrade in the Newton area, this is a well-reviewed, straightforward call.
