In House Kitchen Design

In House Kitchen Design works out of Dorchester, with a wholesale location in Stoughton, and says it has built cabinets and countertops for kitchens and baths across Greater Boston since 2011. It describes itself as owner-operated, family- and minority-owned, with Amy handling design and Leo running installation — a pairing customers name specifically, review after review. The review history here is unusually deep for a shop this size: 32 Google reviews running from 2021 through mid-2026, every one five stars except a single four-star review that's still a compliment. What repeats across that span is stone and cabinetry — quartz, granite, and solid wood cabinets installed after an upfront design consultation. In a 2022 review, a customer described the crew also handling the plumbing and electrical behind a cabinet swap. A general contractor writing in February 2026 said the two companies have worked together on dozens of projects, from a small studio rehab to new six-unit construction — the kind of repeat trade referral that's hard to fake. Price comes up often and favorably: reviewers describe quotes well under what they'd been offered elsewhere, one naming Norfolk Kitchen as the pricier alternative, another comparing the company to Home Depot and Ikea. Reviews also describe the crew installing hardwood flooring (a 2024 job) and, in a mid-2025 review, a Quincy condo owner described a kitchen, peninsula, floors, and bathroom all coordinated together — so the work can extend past cabinetry into a fuller renovation, even though most of what customers describe centers on cabinets and countertops. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration is active, and its Better Business Bureau page shows an A+ rating, accredited since 2015, with no complaint count shown. It's also an authorized dealer for several cabinet and stone brands — Fabuwood, Yorktowne, Cambria, Caesarstone, MSI, and Spectrum Quartz among them — which matches the brand-name cabinets and countertops reviewers describe. For a kitchen or bath built around new cabinetry and stone counters, with design help before the order goes in, this is a well-reviewed, consistently priced call backed by an active state contractor license and years of repeat referrals from both homeowners and other contractors.
