Integrity Chimney Service is a Bow, New Hampshire chimney repair and creative masonry company identified by BBB as locally owned and operated, with Kevin Fredrickson listed as owner. Angi describes 25 years of experience and services that include chimney and fireplace cleaning and inspection, fireplace installation, and brick or stone fireplace repair. Customers describe a broad range of chimney work: inspections, cleaning, liners, caps, brick and mortar repair, flashing, waterproofing, dampers, and combustor installations. Several reviews praise Kevin’s technical skill, punctuality, fair estimates, clean work, and willingness to explain findings; a 2025 reviewer called him reliable and praised a roof installation and chimney quote. Follow-through is the main issue to clarify. A June 2025 review praised the masonry but said an unfinished cap was left for another contractor after repeated missed contacts, and an October 2024 review described a fair estimate followed by no response. An older 2015 review reports that a chimney-cap issue was eventually corrected, while other older accounts describe prompt callbacks and successful completion. The business may suit homeowners who need chimney inspection, repair, masonry, or fireplace work and want a detailed estimate. Confirm availability, completion milestones, written scope, cap and flashing details, cleanup, warranty, and emergency coverage before scheduling. The Google and Angi ratings differ materially, so review the dated written accounts alongside each platform’s headline score.
Kevin is the most reliable contractor I know. From roofing, and siding, to chimney repair and installation... I'd recommend him to my grandmother with a blank check. Thank you for the amazing roof install, professionalism, and clean up. Your chimney quote came in at about 1/3 of what the other competitors came in with... and you were much more of a joy to work with than the other. Thank you
Kevin is a great mason and skilled bricklayer. He has talent and does a good work. His work stands out from other masons as uniquely his. To this point, my chimney is a conversation starter and catches attention. Unfortunately he is impossible to get a hold of, timelines are meaningless, phone calls are avoided and promises broken. He left me with a job uncompleted. Rebuilt the chimney and it needed a cap as the final touch. But he disappeared and the job was never finished. I had to hire another contractor to finish his work. I gave him numerous chances and waited more than ample time before conceding and hiring someone else. I couldn't leave the finished masonry without a cap.
Was referred to Kevin by our realtor. He came out, gave us an estimate that we thought was fair. When we tried to call, text and email to move forward with the chimney work, we got no response. The last contact we’ve had was in July and no response since.
Kevin was one of the recommended chimney vendors from our realtor. I called multiple other vendors in the area as we were looking for an inspection, and wasn’t able to get a clear response or timeframe. When I called Kevin, he answered right away, was friendly, knowledgeable and very reasonable. He was able to complete our chimney inspection the same day all of our other inspections were happening, which saved us a lot of time and stress! He gave us results right away and was able to give us tips for the future. We will definitely be using him again!
I was a bit worried after I was referred to Kevin when I saw some of the reviews on Google. I was fortunate enough to receive 4 different estimates on my chimney which had been leaking since purchase of my home about 1 year ago. Kevin responded promptly to my request for an estimate and came to my home within 2 days. 2 estimates suggested tear down and rebuild, 2 recommended repointing, confirming flashing and sealing. The price ranges for this work varied by ~30K; concerning me based on my limited experience with Chimney. I chose Kevin. His price was by far the most reasonable. He was out to start the work for me within a week to help accomplish this prior to replacing my roof shingles. He estimated the job would take 2-3 days. He completed the work on time, on cost and left my property in better shape the when he started (I'm quite meticulous). Kevin texted me each day with pictures from the roof so I could appreciate the change and explained to me what he was finding with the chimney as he continued to work. With the four days of rain coming I'll get a good sense of if we solved the problem. If I'm still encountering leaking I'm 100% confident Kevin will standby his work and continue to work to solve this issue for me.
