Jacqueline Electric and Contracting is built for the jobs that have a general contractor on site — restaurant and retail fit-outs, cleanrooms, school and municipal work — rather than the Saturday-morning dead outlet. It runs out of 380 Turnpike St in South Easton and says it has been at it since 2010, founded by owner and president Jacqueline Gorman, whom the company describes as a master electrician with nearly 40 years in the trade. It also calls itself woman-owned and family-run, and says it holds WBE and DCAMM certification — its own words on all three counts. One thing isn't self-reported: the Massachusetts electrical licence, #8398, is active with the state, and the registry names the company itself as the holder rather than an individual. That's the version worth having — the entity you would sign a contract with is the entity the state licensed. The homeowner side is short but warm. Twelve Google ratings average 4.3, and the six reviews people have written span 2022 to 2025. Writing in February 2025, one customer walked through the whole visit: outdoor plugs repaired after water damage, a Google doorbell and cameras installed with a lesson on using them, a sump pump added in the basement, and the options explained before anything was touched. A 2023 review described outlets sorted out and exterior spotlights hung, done fast and priced fairly. The newest thing anyone wrote is also the toughest, and it is a commercial job rather than a house. In November 2025, someone working at a dog daycare in Dedham Plaza said the company's crews had knocked out power to half the plaza twice in a single week, faulting the staff running the generator and describing animals left without power. One complaint is not a pattern, but it is specific about the work and it is the most recent thing on the page — a fair thing to raise if your project sits in an occupied building. Public work is genuinely part of the mix: the company bids state and municipal jobs, and it turns up by name in a Massachusetts housing authority's board minutes. Call them for a commercial or institutional project where a licensed, bonded electrical outfit with in-house pre-fabrication is the point; if your job is residential, know that only a handful of homeowners have written about them. Before booking, ask how they will stage work around neighboring tenants, and ask to see the WBE and DCAMM certificates themselves.

You need to hire better people. Twice in a week the entire electricity for half of dedham plaza has been taken down because your staff can’t run a generator. I work in a dog daycare, we have animals that need to be taken care of and your contractors keep wiping out our power.
Highly recommended! He was on time. He took his time and showed me what needed to be repaired and gave me my options. He fixed my outdoor plugs due to water damage. He installed my Google doorbell and cameras and made sure I knew how to use them. They even installed my sump pump in my basement. They can do it all, just ask!
Jacqueline Electric is a competent and professionally run business. The owner is especially appreciative of her workers. They work together as a team to bring you the finest electrical work out there...when Jackie's in your corner you will know it. JEC Cares!!!
Clean, neat, professional. I had some outlets that needed attention and needed some spotlights on the outside installed. They were fast and I feel I got what I paid for.
The whole team was great from start to finish. My electrical projects were completed timely and professionally.
