Adelson and the team were great from the start. The full kitchen remodel took about two months to complete, and each step of the way the specialists were competent, professional, and friendly. When we had questions or wanted to modify plans, Adelson was very responsive and was able to pivot instantaneously. There was an overall sense of urgency that kept the team focused on the task and that my wife and I who were doing the dishes in the nearby bathroom very much appreciated.

In the summer of 2025, we contracted Adelson Martins’ company, Jaragua Home Improvement, to do a substantial renovation project in our 1 bedroom apartment. It was a multi-faceted project over several weeks. One aspect involved reducing and altering existing living/dining space to accommodate the construction of a new additional bedroom. This job required the installation of walls, pocket doors, outlets and painting. The end result was very well done and created an attractive new bedroom space. Additionally, our 1 1/2 bathrooms were completely updated with new vanities, fixtures, toilets, wall and floor tile, outlets and lighting. Adelson’s crew performed many other beneficial upgrades to the apartment - installing new baseboard, replacing all outlets and switches, renovating/replacing the older existing ceiling throughout the unit. All of the walls and ceilings throughout the apartment were custom painted. As an additional courtesy, Adelson also offered to replace all door and closet hardware at no cost increase to our originally agreed upon budget. It should be noted that the Jaragua crew was friendly, skilled, and pleasant to work with, as was their boss, Adelson. Adelson knows very well how to successfully navigate the many aspects of his business, from design construction and selecting appropriate materials, to complying with all building rules and regulations and completing required legal permits in a timely manner. Note: Since the completion of our original project, several months later, we arranged with Adelson to have his crew return to do some additional carpentry, patching and painting jobs for us, and these jobs were completed in a timely, neat manner, and definitely to our satisfaction. Based on our positive experiences, we would definitely recommend Jaragua Home Improvement.

Great contacting company. We had multiple smaller jobs that other companies were ignoring us for. They took them up, quoted us very competitive rates, started fast, had very respectful employees, and worked with us to make sure we got what wanted. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a contractor to remove a load bearing wall and came across Jaragua. Adelson was very responsive and his team did a great job! Don’t mind my mess in the pics, but now my house looks more open and spacious!

I called Jaragua Home Improvement to replace a large window with a Harvey's and a small window. Adelson made an appointment. The resident made arrangement with a neighbor to provide access. Adelson did not go. I called and he replied that he had an emergency. I was sympathetic and asked him to call/text the resident (and not the neighbor) for the next appointment. He did not do so. My multiple calls/texts remained unanswered. I would not hire him, ever.
