Jonathan Hall Electrician is an owner-operated electrical business in Marstons Mills that works across Cape Cod, handling everyday residential and commercial electrical work plus generators, home theater, smart lighting and security cameras. The review record is small but unusually consistent: 32 reviews from 2022 to 2026, all five stars, with a 5-star Google average across 53 ratings. What makes it read as real rather than generic is that customers name the people - Jon himself, and technicians Tim and LJ - and describe specific jobs across years. The recurring theme is speed and diagnosis. In a 2024 review a homeowner who called out of the blue about a short that tripped a kitchen breaker heard back from the office the same day and had the fault separated the next; another 2024 reviewer got next-day service and says Tim found and fixed a problem they did not know they had. In August 2026 a repeat customer described replacing a failing well-pump switch and outlet and adding a power meter and smart relay so the pump could be monitored. Customers also consistently mention tidiness and explanation - crews cleaning up after themselves and walking homeowners through the work in plain language - and one 2024 reviewer singled out scheduling that communicates immediately when something has to change. What to ask about is scope and paperwork rather than workmanship: the business publishes no licence number on its own site, so ask for the master electrician licence number and confirm it against the state registry, and get the estimate in writing - the site offers a free estimate but the reviews rarely discuss pricing beyond calling it reasonable.
“I've had good experiences with Jonathan Hall Electrician: https://www.jhallelectric.com”
Best Electrician on Cape Cod for Well Pump Electrical Repair & Smart Monitoring Once again, Jon Hall came through for us. We had an old switch and outlet controlling our well pump that was starting to fail, which is the kind of thing you really don’t think about until suddenly there is no water in the house. My wife and I have literally had times where we are in the shower and the water just stops, so I wanted to get this fixed the right way. Jon replaced the old failing switch and outlet and upgraded the setup with a DROK power meter and a Shelly smart relay so I can now monitor the well pump remotely and actually see what is going on. The smart monitoring may be a little overkill, but after dealing with no water unexpectedly, it is worth every penny to me. Now I can check the pump remotely and know if there is an issue before we are standing in the shower wondering where the water went. Jon is always responsive, knows what he is doing, and does really clean work. This is not the first time he has helped us out and once again he saved the day. If you are looking for a good electrician on Cape Cod, especially for electrical troubleshooting, well pump wiring, outlets, switches, or smart home electrical upgrades, I would definitely recommend Jon Hall. Five stars and someone I will continue to call anytime we need electrical work.
