Kannan & Pricone Plumbing & Heating Inc

Kannan & Pricone has been Methuen's plumbing and heating outfit since 1985 — what the company says started as a small family operation is now run day to day by Bill Kannan, a master plumber, and Tom Pricone, its heating and HVAC specialist. Its Massachusetts plumbing license is active on the state registry. Across more than fifty Google reviews running from 2021 through this year, speed under pressure is the thing people keep describing. One 2025 review recalled calling about a leaking hot water tank at 10:00 and having a crew finish the job by lunchtime; another credited the company with an excellent response on a furnace call made at Christmas. Several long-time customers go further — one said they'd used the company for over twenty years without an issue, and a property manager overseeing ten properties calls Kannan & Pricone its exclusive plumbing contractor. The work itself spans routine plumbing and heating repairs to bigger jobs: water heater swaps, boiler and furnace repairs, ductless AC installs, and a bathroom job where the crew tracked down and replaced a buried toilet supply line. Not everything is glowing, though: two reviews from early 2024 tell a different story. One customer said a technician was unpleasant on an emergency call and objected to being charged for 30 minutes of travel time before he'd even walked in the door; another said a boiler repair the company promised would last the winter failed again once the cold set in, leaving them feeling misled. Both sit against a long run of five-star reviews, but they're real accounts and worth asking about directly. For routine plumbing and heating work, or for something bigger like a water heater swap or a bath remodel, Kannan & Pricone is a well-established call in the Merrimack Valley. Its BBB page is also an A+, and most customers who leave a review say they'd use the company again.
