Forty-three years is the number that frames everything else here. BBB records Timothy A. Giard & Son as established in Massachusetts on 1 January 1983, with Timothy Giard as owner and Jeremy Giard as vice-president - the "& Son" is literal. The company works out of North Andover, runs plumbing and heating together, and adds two things most plumbers don't: air-conditioning service and septic pumping. Its Massachusetts master plumber licence, number 10301, is active and held by Timothy A Giard himself - the same number the company prints on its own site and BBB carries on its profile. Google shows a 4.7 average across 54 ratings, with written reviews running back to 2021. The pattern across those years holds steady: emergency calls answered fast, boilers and water heaters replaced, and named people - office staff and plumbers alike - recurring by first name in separate customers' accounts. The most recent comment, in June, was a routine annual AC service, described as on time and knowledgeable. Two things sit oddly in the paperwork. BBB gives the firm an A+ while stating in the same breath that it is NOT BBB accredited; those are separate facts and neither implies the other. BBB also lists the business with a single employee, which squares badly with customers naming an owner, a vice-president, office staff and several different plumbers. And 54 Google ratings outnumber the 33 written reviews on file - whatever pulled that average below five sits among the ratings that never explained themselves. A sensible call for a boiler or water heater near the end of its life, an air conditioner that has quit, or septic pumping. Confirm the price before work starts, and note the company's own terms as BBB records them: labour guaranteed one year from completion, with parts and materials covered by the manufacturer's warranty only.

These guys were fantastic. I was in a bad position with another HVAC company for two months (including serious safety issues). These guys fixed my issue within 24 hours, explained everything efficiently and were total professionals. Highly recommend.

Tim Giard has been servicing our home for 20+ years. They respond to all emergencies 24-7. Tim and his entire team did an amazing job replacing my old steam boiler during the coldest days of this winter last week. They got the entire system up and running in one day. It was a huge job but they wanted to make sure we had heat as soon as possible. I can’t thank them enough for their hard work and expertise. They are honest, thorough and do excellent work!

I had a gas leak coming into the house. Jeremy was here in 10 minutes (before the Eversource Gas rep had left.) He immeditely diagnosed the problem (not a joint, but a corroded pipe coming into the house) and fixed it. I can’t say enough about the speed, efficiency, and professionalism of Jeremy. The “& Son” on the truck should be much larger!
