"His talent and attention to detail were amazing," wrote the built-ins client in February 2018. That is the shape of this Scituate shop. Its Houzz service menu runs long, from additions to pool houses, but every homeowner who has written about the work describes finish carpentry, and the company's own line is "custom designed carpentry and construction on the South Shore and beyond for over 15 years." Typical jobs are listed at $15,000 to $100,000. Reliability comes up as often as craft. A 2018 client wrote that Brad "was always here when he said he'd be here and was always one step ahead of us," and a 2019 client noted the crew cleaned up every day. Another said he fitted their job in while waiting for a larger one to start. Two things to settle before you call. The Massachusetts construction supervisor licence CS-085638 in Brad Kingsbury's name — the same number Houzz lists — shows as expired in the state registry, so ask whether it has been renewed. And the written record has gone quiet: six reviews, the newest from December 2022, all on Houzz. For trim, built-ins, mantels, stairs and cabinetry on the South Shore, the evidence points squarely at the right kind of shop. Confirm the licence status and ask to see something finished in the last year.
