Koy Hardwood Floor Services is a Malden, MA contractor built around one trade — sanding, refinishing, and installing hardwood floors — across Greater Boston and the North Shore, and the company says it's been doing this for ten years. A BuildZoom profile names Cuong Huynh as the owner. Its Massachusetts home improvement contractor registration (HIC #195495) is active on the state registry. Two Google reviews, both from December 2025, describe the same kind of job: floors refinished carefully, with color samples brought out ahead of time and a fair estimate. One customer said every corner was done beautifully; the other said Koy knew exactly what he was doing and planned to recommend him to friends. Koy is a reasonable call for a straightforward sanding or refinishing job in the Greater Boston area — get the estimate in writing and ask for a couple of recent references before booking.
Koy was a pleasure to work with. He knows exactly what he’s doing when it comes to Hardwood flooring I would use him again and recommend to friends!
Koy was amazing at refinishing our floors. He took the time to come out and show us different color samples, making sure we felt confident in our choice before starting. His estimate was very fair, and the care he put into the work truly showed. Every corner was done beautifully, even the tricky areas around radiators! Nothing was rushed or overlooked. The finished floors are absolutely gorgeous and completely transformed our space. During the process he even assisted us while we were replacing a lock on our door! It’s rare to find someone so skilled, thorough, and caring. We couldn’t recommend him more highly.
