LeBlanc Mechanical is a family-owned HVAC company in Waltham. Its website says Randy LeBlanc owns and operates it, and lists heating and air conditioning service, repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation for residential and commercial customers in Waltham, Lexington, Weston, Newton, and Belmont. Massachusetts' registry lists the business's HVAC license 894-SM-B as active. The customer reports cover both dependable work and a meaningful follow-through complaint. In March 2025, a Google reviewer described a neat, efficient furnace replacement. In August 2025, another reviewer said an apartment AC repair sent through a third party remained unresolved, the promised control-board installation did not happen, and calls went unanswered. Google shows a 4.1 average from 31 ratings; the quoted track record spans 13 reviews dated 2021–2025 across nine sources. Older accounts add useful context, though they are not a current-service promise. A 2022 reviewer said the team restored heat before nightfall, explained the work, and charged fairly; a 2021 BuildZoom reviewer also described a same-day furnace repair. The company is therefore a reasonable local call for HVAC service and replacement, with an active state license and a family-run operation. For apartment or multi-unit work, confirm who will perform the job, what parts are needed, and how the office will handle follow-up if a repair is not completed on the first visit.

“LeBlanc is the owner of LeBlanc Mechanical, which has been in business in Waltham for nearly 20 years, and specializes in the service and installation of all HVAC needs.”
They’re contracted with my apartment to work on our AC unit but LeBlanc sent a third party contractor and they didn’t fix the issue. Leblanc was supposed to order the control board part but never showed up to install it and my apartment manager says Leblanc is not returning calls to come fix the issue. This has been going over for over one month now. Corey 10 Development is the apartment company that Leblanc is supposed to be helping (which I live in a Corey 10 apartment). Middle of summer and no AC is not acceptable and it’s apparently all because Leblanc is not communicative.
Thank god for this company. My main air-conditioning system and floral cooler stopped working. I wasn’t sure who to call for both AC and a floral cooler. I went on google and found this company. The first company I tried, told me my coolers were old and I should just get a new ones. Called Leblanc and they came over and fixed both on same day. This literally saved my flowers & team for a huge event I had. Cant thank them enough. Try them and thank me later.
We’ve been working with Leblanc Mechanical, Matt, Nick, Randy and their team for close to 20 years. I just replaced a furnace and their team was efficient, super neat and professional!
These people are impossible to work with and I would not recommend them to anybody. I reached out to LeBlanc because my A/C isn't working. First they tried to push out my scheduled appointment by a week, claiming that they were dealing with a lot of "no A/C" calls and needed to reschedule routine maintenance calls. When I scheduled the appointment, I clearly told them that my A/C wasn't working - this wasn't a routine maintenance call! When they did come out, they determined that the condenser was broken and that I needed to update my system because it uses an old type of refrigerant. They were supposed to get back to me within a couple of days with a quote. It's been nearly a month now, during which I've called them several times to check on the status of the quote. Each time, they assure me that they'll get back to me within 1-2 days. Each time, they don't get back to me at all! To this day, I still haven't received a quote. If LeBlanc doesn't have the capacity to service my home, they should just tell me that. Giving me the run-around for nearly a month is incredibly unprofessional - especially when we're dealing with unprecedented temperatures and I'm trying to keep the house cool for my children. Whatever is going on over at LeBlanc, they clearly can't be relied upon and should be avoided in favor of other, more responsive companies.
Do not contact them! The Leblancs are SCAMMERS!! Unfortunately, they are all infested in the Waltham area!
