NU-YAR Construction, LLC

We hired NU-YAR Construction for a big project in Cape Elizabeth, adding a second story above our garage. A project this size can feel overwhelming, but working with David and his crew made it surprisingly stress-free. The biggest thing for us was communication. We were never left wondering what was happening, where things stood, or how the budget was tracking. They kept us in the loop the whole time, which made the process feel manageable instead of overwhelming. From day one, it was clear they take real pride in their work. Every detail was done with care, and it showed throughout the entire process. When the occasional bumps came up, they showed up right away and worked with us to find solutions. It wasn’t a “we’re the pros, here’s what we’re doing” attitude—it was “here’s the issue, here are the options, what do you think?” By the end, it didn’t feel like we were just another project to them. They treated us with the kind of care you’d hope for when trusting someone with your home, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We’re proud of the space they built for us and would recommend NU-YAR to anyone considering a remodel or addition.

NuYar rebuilt an addition on the family's 1840 farmhouse after a fire. They were terrific to work with, especially Don Lippoth, who is a talented carpenter and craftsman. His attention to detail was essential for us to feel that the house would flow from the old to the new construction. He came up with novel ideas to help us stay within budget but to also produce a first rate product. Don communicated very well and was fun to work with. His workmanship is outstanding and he seemed to take the other workers on the project under his wing to teach them the trade. Don really cares about the quality of his work and the aesthetic and maintaining historical authenticity. We feel fortunate to have worked with NuYar on this project and thank the entire team! We highly recommend NuYar!

I worked with NuYar construction for a kitchen and downstairs bathroom remodel in 2023 on my 1874 single family, New Englander. David Neujhar, my project manager-Steve and the NuYar crew were absolute professionals. Communication was clear on all levels. As expected, with a 150 year old house, there were some unforeseen things that needed to be added to the list of repairs in order for the project to be properly and successfully completed. It was a relief to know that this remodel was going to be done right the first (and only) time. NuYar was just great at helping me to stay within budget without giving up the "must haves" on my kitchen wish list. They were also extremely flexible in doing small "add ons" that I decided were important during the construction process. The end result is a dream kitchen that is gorgeous, functional and a joy to cook and entertain in. Family and friends are blown away at the before and after. I could not have asked for more. NU-YAR Construction completed an addition to our house in 2023 and we couldn't be happier! The team at NU-YAR was responsive, communicative, respectful, and most importantly --- skilled! Throughout the whole process - from contracting to finish work - we appreciated their ability to be flexible and get the work done. All of their subcontractors were great and I recommend this company to anyone! We are so happy with our new kitchen and mudroom.

Courteous, thoughtful and hardworking. NU-YAR maintains trusted relationships with subcontractors to help keep things on schedule and high quality. We couldn't be more pleased with our house renovation and it was a pleasure having NU-YAR on site each day. A great team across the board!
