Lemay Oil Co. delivers heating oil, and on its BBB profile the company describes related services including furnace maintenance and system cleaning, along with emergency support. It is BBB accredited with an A+ grade. A recent customer of more than 10 years says that whenever they have had a question or needed something fixed, the company has gotten back to them right away and taken care of the issue promptly. A 2025 customer praised the woman who answers the phone when ordering and wrote that Lemay Oil "gets it done from the phone call to the oil delivery." A 2022 customer said they needed oil before a snowstorm and the delivery came a couple of hours later, when other companies wanted them to wait six days. A 2023 customer called the front-desk staffer rude, accused her of trying to overcharge, and said she would not supply oil without a larger order because the customer was supposedly too far away; the customer wrote that their home was in New Britain, where the office is located.
Exceptional service and nice people! It doesn't get any better.
We’ve been customers for over 10 years with Lemay! They’re a wonderful family-owned company that’s honest, reliable, and always quick to respond. Whenever we’ve had a question or needed something fixed, they’ve gotten back to us right away and taken care of the issue promptly. It’s so nice to work with a company that truly cares about its customers. Highly recommend!
I don’t know who answers the phone when ordering, but she has the most pleasant attitude. You can tell she always has a smile on her face and is willing to do what she can to help the customer out. Customer service these days is lacking and Lemay Oil gets it done from the phone call to the oil delivery.
The lady in the front desk is extremely rude and a scammer. Be careful with her she tries to over charge to get as much money out of you as possible. She told me she cannot supply me with oil unless I spend over $600 because she claimed I was too far but my home is in new britain right where their office is located. Will not be doing business with these scammers
The service is the best around. I needed oil before the snowstorm and the delivery a couple of hours later. Other companies want me to wait six days later. Thank you very much.
