Liptak's own website lists water damage, sewage cleanup and decontamination, mold remediation, fire and smoke damage, and reconstruction and remodeling among its services, and the company says it has been in business 35 years. The site names a service area that includes Westfield, Agawam, Chicopee, Holyoke, Northampton and Ludlow. A 2025 customer wrote that water was accumulating in their basement from a cracked hose in the water filter, and that Liptak promptly sent a crew to evaluate and set up equipment to dry the basement. A 2024 customer said Liptak restored and repaired their ceiling after a pipe cracked and leaked through it. That 2024 customer said Chris handled all insurance communications. A 2021 customer wrote that after their water tank failed, Liptak assessed the damage, worked with the insurance company and completed the repairs on time with only the deductible out of pocket. Another 2021 customer said they called on a weekend for a flood and the company came out right away. A 2025 customer said Liptak's quote was the most competitive of the quotes they received. A 2024 customer wrote that after the water removal was done, the company left and they heard nothing for four weeks, and that the water-removal estimate sent to their insurer seemed highly inflated. That 2024 customer said the company canceled its repairs estimate after they decided to upgrade their bathroom, while still praising the water removal. A different 2024 customer, who first praised a basement rebuild after a sewer backup, later wrote that water came in through holes in the floor that were left unsealed and that their calls got no call back. A 2025 customer called it the worst company their family has dealt with and said they took the company to court and won.
